Where did this idea come from? And why did no one think of it before? ''It was my mum that came up with the inspiration for matching animals when a friend suggested she try it with her matching seal-point Birman kitten and dwarf bunny. I have continued her great work," said Mark Taylor of Warren Photography.
Animals are notoriously hard to work with, but Warren Photography has the art down to a science. ''Animals are more difficult to work with than people because you can’t tell them what to do... I have an assistant who helps me to train the animals and keep them from walking off set. She is incredibly good with animals," said Taylor.
Warren Photographic is based out of the U.K. The image library specializes in pet photography. You can view their portfolio of animals, but you're going to have to watch out. You might explode from all the cuteness.
Sure, looking at photos of puppies and kittens is fun, but it's also good for you. A study conducted at Hiroshima University found that looking at pictures of puppies and watching cat videos at work leads to productivity. So by looking at all of these photos is good for us!
The study thinks that the reason why cute animals makes you more productive is because it could be connected to nurturing instincts.“If viewing cute things makes the viewer more attentive, the performance of a non-motor perceptual task would also be improved,” said the study. Does it really matter? These animals are just too cute!
But the benefits of looking at cute animals doesn't stop there! Another study found that looking at cute animals can boost happiness and energy levels. So go ahead and keep on looking at these cute creatures!
You might feel like you're wasting time by looking at cute animals. Trust us, you're going to be more productive in the long run. "Even if they are watching cat videos on YouTube to procrastinate or while they should be working, the emotional pay-off may actually help people take on tough tasks afterwards," said Assistant Professor Jessica Gall Myrick from Indiana University Media School.
Photos of cute animals can help keep your marriage together too. A study conducted at Florida State University found that looking at photos of puppies and bunnies can help keep the magic alive. They're good for the whole family!
