When you think of a good home for a dog, a monastery may not be the first thing to pop into your mind. But the St. Francis Monastery in Cochabamba, Bolivia recently became home to a homeless pup. And the story has gone viral.
The Franciscan order was established by St. Francis. He was the patron saint of animals, so it only makes sense they would adopt this adorable little guy into their faith. And so far, he's fitting right in.
Moustache's adoption was facilitated by Proyecto Narices Frias ("The Cold Nose Project"). They are a local animal rescue that hope Moustache's story will inspire others. Considering how far this story has spread, there's a good chance it might.
