Dillon's dad is Fred Josephsen, who owns Josephsen Hardwood Floors in New Jersey. In August, Dillon decided to highlight something connected with Fred's work. But it has nothing to do with his skill at installing floors.
Dillon sent out this tweet a regular feature on the Josephsen Hardwood Floors Facebook page. His dad regularly posts pictures of the company "Employee of the Week." And, in nearly every case, the winner is a dog.
It seems when Fred goes into a home to work on a floor, there are often pets in the house. Having a stranger enter your home and disrupt your everyday life can be a bit on the stressful side. So Fred rewards these pets by making them employees.
At most jobs, if you took frequent breaks from your duties, you would get fired. Especially if you stepped out of the office several times a day so you could chase some squirrels. But for Tucker, this behavior actually gets rewarded.
While dogs are the main winners of Fred's Employee of the Week award, this is not always the case. Cats have been known to get in on the action as well. This cat acted as some sort of supervisor...which makes sense, because cats are used to being in charge.
In another instant, the Employee of the Week honors went to an actual donkey. It appears that Fred is willing to take on an employee of just about any species. He even has no problem hiring a total jackass.
Thanks to the exposure, Fred's business is picking up more followers on Facebook. However, many of them might more of a fan of his workers than they are hardwood floor enthusiasts. But it appears that Fred's not too upset about this.
Fred was even praised for his marketing strategy, but Dillon pointed out that his dad wasn't even doing this in order to drum up business. Whether on purpose or on accident, it looks like it worked anyway.
