Jersey Shore—a reality show that aired from 2009 until 2012—changed everything we knew about the state of Jersey. Those guidos and guidettes entered that house at Seaside Heights and waltzed into our hearts. We laughed, we cried, and we started calling stage-five clingers "grenades."
The moment when Snooki ran along the beach, looking for the beach, will be written in our history books. These people knew how to make us laugh--and lose a few brain cells—but their best asset was getting completely tanked. Wasted isn't a good enough word to describe how the cast could throw back shots.
Once it was T-shirt time we knew it was going down. Who took longer to get ready, DJ Pauly D or The Situation? The world will never know, but it turns out we may get to revisit their ridiculous antics.
Snooki hinted at a possible spin-off with this Instagram picture captioned, "reunion time." Fans knew something was up, and all the cast members seemed to be on board with the idea. There is a guido god.
Ever since Snooki and the other castmates starting dropping hints, we couldn't help but pray it might be true. "My dreams have come true Jesus Christ look at how hot they are," one fan wrote on Snooki's Instagram post. Luckily, we recently got the answer we were looking for.
The cast of Jersey Shore met up at Burger Kingto shoot a commercial and chow down on chicken parmesan sandwiches. The world reacted with glee, but then we had a few questions. One cast member was mysteriously missing.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro—former fist pumper and one-half of the dysfunctional relationship with castmate Sammi—was not part of the Burger King commercial. Not only that, but he hasn't been in any of the Instagram reunion pics, so what gives? One castmate gave the world the harsh truth.
"I honestly don't know if anyone has spoken to him about [the reunion]. Right now we're in a group chat with me, Pauly [DelVecchio], Vinny [Guadagnino], Mike [Sorrentino], Nicole [Polizzi], Jenni [Farley] and Sam [Giancola]," Cortese stated. Does this mean no more Ronnie flipping over Sammi's bed in relationship rage? What kind of world is this?
Although Ronnie seems pretty much gone from the Jersey Shore cast, it doesn't mean he hasn't been productive. Ron has been busy with other television endeavors, and dating has definitely taken priority in his life. Because he's had SO much relationship success in the past.
Ronnie was recently on the latest season of Famously Single, in case you don't follow all facets of trash television. This show tries to help celebrities find love, and Ronnie did have a fling with Malika Haqq—Kourtney Kardashian's bestie—and things just get weirder from there.
Just recently Ronnie was spotted leaving a nightclub in Las Vegas after an altercation. He and his girlfriend had blood all over them, which was definitely not a good look. It's no wonder the rest of Jersey Shore doesn't want anything to do with him since they have moved on and started families while he is still starting fights.
"I'm sure he'd be willing to sign on. We just all haven't spoken to him. I think Vinny's the only one that really talks to him," Cortese stated. He has been posting Jersey Shore throwback pictures on Instagram, so we will have to wait and see if he will participate. The anticipation is killing us.
15. The Reunion Special Should Be Airing In August
We have a few weeks before we get to see our favorite messes grace our screens again, so there is still time for Ronnie to make a comeback. Will he fist bump his way into the reunion special? STAY TUNED.
