If you've ever walked through a city, there's a good chance you've experienced this scenario. You're walking on the sidewalk when you realize you're approaching a large gathering of pigeons. And once you get there, the pigeons freak out and scatter away.
The shoes are the creation of Japanese shoemaker Kyoto Ohata. To avoid upsetting pigeons when she would walk past, she made a pair of shoes that actually look just like pigeons. Now her feet can completely blend in with the crowd!
But do the shoes work? Judging by this photo, the real pigeons don't seem to be scared off by the shoe pigeons. And it looks like the man behind her is trying to feed the shoes. Looks like the disguised shoes are a success!
Then, get some grey felt and cut it into the shapes of four wings. Then get some black felt and grey felt and cut them out into these small circles. Glue them in rows onto the wings so they can become feathers.
