Speaking of ice cream, this is a great trick. This is like when your dog won't take a bath and lure them into the bathroom with a treat. Except these are your kids. Kids...dogs...what is the difference?
If you tell your kids to eat their vegetables, it will never happen. Not in a million years. If you put some veggies on a cute plate somewhere within their reach and eat them in front of them, they are bound to follow your lead. Never tell your kids what you want them to do. Do it in front of them and hopefully they will imitate you. Just be ready to eat a lot of veggies while you wait for them to catch on.
Your kids are gullible little dums dums. I'm sorry, they are. If you tell them that something is THE BEST THING THEY HAVE EVER SEEN IN THEIR LIFE they will believe you. They will also end up in therapy later down the line, but let's cross that bridge when we get there.
Confucius once said, "If you ask your kids to do something, they will say no. If you then ask them to do something worse than what you wanted them to do in the first place, they will gladly say yes to your first request."
Are you sick of spending money on toys that your kids never touch? Kids never play with anything until they think that you are going to give them to someone else. Then, all of a sudden, it was their favorite toy in the world and they can't live without it. Therefore, this is the perfect solution to that problem.
Special bonus points if you hum or sing along to the fake song that you are listening to. This is how you get all the juicy gossip. Like how Matt touched Stephanie's boob on the school trip. You can't believe he did that either!
Mom is tired, so mom is going to ignore that you guys need to eat. Cereal has vitamins and calcium and will work just fine. Also, if mom waits long enough, maybe dad will just order a pizza and then everyone wins.
The worst part about being a parent is having to hear the same songs and videos over and over again. So, instead of going postal one day, try this. It might just save your family from falling apart someday.
