So when I came across this act of revenge, I had to give it to the guy. Oh, yes, I’m sure it’s a guy. I’m pretty certain no woman would spend time crafting a Google related/mowing lawn form of revenge.
The “A-Hole” shot can be seen through Google Maps. It also has an arrow drawn around it, pointing at the house of the so-called “A-hole.” Maybe people wanted to attract tourists to the neighborhood in some way? Hmm… .
This means that the person behind the act of revenge has been maintaining the lawn for years. Can you imagine asking your husband to trim the "a" in “A-hole?” Then again, this guy must be the only husband in the world willing to trim the lawn without being asked.
Now the neighbors hate the color purple because they say it reflects that Barney glow into their home. I, personally, don’t think it looks that bad. So this family likes a bit of color. Let them live, damn it!
In 2009, the neighbors petitioned against the purple house. They protested that the Barney crib devalued their property. People were even asking for tax relief from Clallam County Assessor as a result of this devaluation.
Or maybe the "A-holes" like being famous on Google maps. Maybe they like not having to give people instructions as to where they live every single time. Maybe they like telling people, “Just look for the ‘A-hole’ in Sequim, WA, lady,” and be done with instructions.
